Role

Enabling trade and economic growth through developing and operating logistics zones (both special-purpose and conventional zones) in Saudi Arabia.

 LogiPoint Bonded and Re-Export Zone (BRZ) is the flagship business of the company. As the first and the largest ‘ Duty-Free Logistics Zone’ in the Kingdom, the BRZ has helped transform the country’s logistics landscape into a modern and efficient pillar of the economy. Located strategically within the Jeddah Islamic Port, the Kingdom’s largest port handling as much as 70% of the national throughput, and buoyed by a commitment to innovation and efficiency, the BRZ has positioned itself as the region’s distributional hub of choice to European, Middle Eastern and African markets.

 The BRZ’s spectacular success has paved the way for setting up logistics parks and economic zones across the Kingdom, starting with Logistics Park Modon 1 and Logistics Park South Jeddah, where LogiPoint is expanding its product offering to the wider logistics clientele, staying true to its vision of enabling logistics and going one step further.

Facilities and Services

BRZ in JIP offers the following facilities:

• Built-to-Suit and Standard Warehouses for bonded storage and handling of cargoes.

• General-purpose yards for storage and handling of project cargoes like bulk, breakbulk, and OOG.

• Specialized Reefer Container Yard with 192 plug points and refrigerated cross-docking stations.

• Facilities for the purposes of import, export, in-transit, trans-shipment, and re-export operations.

Projects

Cross-Border Bonded Trucking: Western imports into the GCC expedited by 7-10 days by discharging shipments in JIP and trucking under bond to final destinations across the GCC. Pilot shipments executed in partnership with a global freight forwarding organization. Targeted at high-value time-sensitive segments like Fresh Produce, Pharmaceuticals, and Project shipments via global freight forwarders handling contract logistics.

Logistics Parks Modon 1 and Jeddah South taking shape as non-bonded logistics zones offered by LogiPoint to the logistics and supply chain industry. Both zones tap into a long-standing need for a logistics eco-system geared to facilitate the industry through second-to-none infrastructure and product offering.

BRZ Warehouse Village Phase V and Phase VI expected to be completed during the year 2021 thus enabling the BRZ to expand its footprint in the 3PL and e-commerce segments while catering to the growing demand for the BRZ advantage.

Partnership contracts signed with multiple Global and Regional heavyweights in e-commerce and express logistics including Amazon, Aramex, and Naqel.

Re-engineered export processes in tandem with regulatory authorities to cater to the needs of the Petrochemicals exporters thus playing an important part in making the Kingdom’s exports competitive in the international market.
